Jin Kang

About Me

I am a Professor in the Department of Aerospace Engineering at the United States Naval Academy (USNA).  My research interests focus on advancing small satellite technology, including propulsion, on-orbit serviding and repair, non-conventional communicaiton architecture, and deployment mechanisms.

As the Director of the Naval Academy Small Satellite Program (NASSP), I manage the student CubeSat satellite project portfolio. My goal is to integrate my satellite technology research with the student satellite development activities in creating relevant satellite projects that contribute to the advancement of small satellite technology.
